“To make this record we brought our own gear to Bingham’s family lake house in Goodview, VA for 8 days. Ryan set up the control room in the master bedroom, making for cozy playback sessions cuddled on the bed. Saman opened his tunes up to us all, allowing them to breathe with trust and friendship. Alex kept the session moving forward, leading conversations on how to best sculpt the record. Our friend Jad the Cook provided home-cooked meals 3 times a day, expertly timing his sounds to stay off the mics...mostly. When not tracking we’d spend our time snacking before meal time, resting on the porch, admiring the beauty outside, or playing ping-pong in the garage. Around sundown whiskey would emerge and live-tracking would progress. After tracking each night we’d play Hot Dice, share stories, and cry laughing.” - Gabe Anderson
