The Slow Decline is a trilogy of EP’s reckoning with the end of the world. The first EP, Night Blooms in the Apocalypse, is a clear introduction to what Sam Logan hopes to accomplish with his project Nightblooms and sets the foundation for two additional EPs built respectively around the themes of love and the natural world. Across Night Blooms in the Apocalypse, Logan covers our shared anxieties. The deterioration of the planet and those who profit from it, the comfort and corruption of religion, and our global slide into chaos. These heavy themes float across four tracks that shimmer.
